Bringing Joy Through Art:
Our Students’ with Silverado Hospice Volunteering Opportunity

At our Irvine-based art academy, we believe art is more than creativity—it’s about connection. That’s why we team up with local hospices in Orange County, giving our students a chance to use their skills to brighten patients’ lives.

How Our Students Help

Hospice care is all about comfort and support. Our students craft personalized artwork and meaningful gifts that are delivered to patients. These handmade pieces bring warmth and joy, helping families cherish special memories.

Monthly Art Projects with Silverado Hospice

Since September 2024, we’ve partnered with Silverado Hospice in Orange County to create meaningful art projects each month. In October 2024, our students crafted Memory Bears—stuffed animals made from a loved one’s clothing to provide comfort to grieving families. These projects help patients and their families cherish special memories through art.

A Life-Changing Experience

Volunteering through art is eye-opening. It helps students grow emotionally, appreciate life, and see art as a tool for healing. Many say it’s one of the most meaningful experiences they’ve had.

Stand Out for College

Beyond the personal rewards, this experience also strengthens college applications. Schools, including Ivy League institutions, value students who show compassion and community involvement.
